Going Bacharach: The Songs of an Icon Tempe Theatre reviews
Awesome First Concert
Going Bacharach: The Songs of an Icon, I love LOVE it. Their songs have been a huge inspiration to me when writing my novel, let me start by saying. Each one spoke to me directly when getting into my character. The opening act, The naked and Famous were very good, though it was hard to understand them, don't know if it was because of the mics or what, but had no idea what they were singing the entire time, but the songs were catchy. The show is surprisingly family friendly as well. This show was amazing. When Imagine Dragons came on it was so thrilling. They play a very good live concert, sounds so great and on key. The drummer, bass and guitar solos took my breath away. Just by listening to the album, you can't tell how talented these guys really are, but on stage they ROCK! The show started about 7:30, we were out of there a little after 11. This was my first concert (I'm in my late 20's, I know!), and I wasn't sure what to expect, I wanted to bring my 7 year old but my husband said it was a bad idea, but when we got there, we were surrounded by teens, older folk, young children. I wish we had brought our son. I hope they come back soon because this was by far a great concert!
